Pacquiao earns US$25-M from Margarito bout

Already a multi-millionaire, Filipino boxing icon Manny Pacquiao has at least another US$25 million coming for battering Mexican Antonio Margarito into submission in Texas last weekend. That is before the taxman lops off a big chunk of it. But for all intents and purposes, boxing's pound-for-pound king no longer needs to work for the rest of his life, unless he overindulges and blows it all away.

For his 12-round, 36-minute work in the ring with Margarito, Pacquiao earned an estimated $25 million, equivalent to 1.1 billion pesos. This translates to $694,000 or 30.5 million pesos per minute. Full Story...

The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Thursday that 1,605 out of 4,013 passed the Midwife Licensure Examination given by the Board of Midwifery in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga this November 2010.
The result of examination with respect to one (1) examinee was withheld pending final determination of her liabilities under the rules and regulations governing licensure examination. Read More....

The numbers can be in any order.
The jackpot prize for the draw is P495,597,376.80, according to the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO).

PCSO has yet to reveal if someone won the top prize, which is the largest in Philippine lotto history.

The 6/45 Megalotto draw result, meanwhile, is 22-19-2-13-4-29. 
The numbers can be in any order. The jackpot prize for the draw is P38,844,261.
