During the live season finale of Survivor Philippines Celebrity Showdown last night at GMA studio, Akihiro Sato received 3 votes from the 7 jury members, enough for him to win the title. He bested Ervic Vijandre, Solenn Heusaff and Aubrey Miles.
This is what went down during the finale:
Aubrey Miles became the 7th jury member after a nail-biting tie-breaker between her and Akihiro Sato was held.
Both Aubrey and Akihiro received 3 votes for elimination from the 6 jury members while Ervic and Solenn each got two vote-offs. The 6 jury members and now including Ervic and Solenn voted between Aubrey and Akihiro to break the tie. Moi, Solenn and Ervic voted off Akihiro but the rest voted against Aubrey, making the hot mama the 7th member of the jury.
Akihiro, Solenn and Ervic became the final 3 castaways vying for title and the cash prize of P3 million. The jury members (including the newest member Aubrey) cast their votes live once again and this time, they are voting for the one they want to win Survivor Philippines.
